Brief from client
So,
This isn't so much a logo, as it is an art piece.
However I've found that there is a lot of leisure when it comes to United States parks design. So I'd like you guys to take a look at this anyways.
Wow! Nice usage of colors to simulate a gradient in the letters without actually having one :)
I honestly would buy this if this was on a shirt, except I'm not very fond of the pointing men, let alone two in each bottom corner. Otherwise, gorgeous work!
I can't take complete credit for the gradient idea. I got full inspiration from work done by Olly Moss, and his use of color is ace. I definitely adapted it more to suit my style, and I'll be using that same treatment with different color schemes in the future.
I really appreciate the comments and compliments though.
Agree with all above comments - very well done! Want to add that if you would consider incorporating your logo into a silhouette of the park ranger with outstretched arm - that way you would have both in one.

I kind of don't like them either. However they are seriously the logo for the South Carolina State Parks.
I think they look a little National Socialist myself, but what are you gonna do lol.
Wow indeed! This looks pretty good! I can see it work as a logo, albeit the fully developed iteration of a logo.
I would just rework the way path looks, by adapting it more to the perspective of the landscape.
Other than, that your handling of colors is ace. This is the best work I've seen from you so far! Congrats!
Love it. Breaks the rules of simplicity etc in logo design but its very unique and those colors are extremely eye catching.

Inspiration is part of the creative process.
You totally own that badass of a logo ;)
LOVE. THE. COLORS! Grabbed my attention! =)
