Ouch. Stay away from the cheap photoshop effects as much as you can. Especially the bevel/emboss filter. Basically, it just makes your logo, or whatever you apply it on, cheap and uncreative.

As a matter of fact, stay away from photoshop when creating a logo. Nothing beats the pen and paper/Illustrator combo.
