Brief from client
We are establishing a Daily English magazine in The Horn of Africa.
One of the things you will want to consider, since this is a print publication, most logo headers are very horizontal. With having such a large symbol above text the text is going to get forced farther and farther down the page. On a magazine, there goes your cover space. I'm not really seeing the reason for having the gray diamond underlining "Horn" and you have two different shades of orange. Is that intentional?

The placement of the sun really isn't working here. Version 1 was better.
Keep experimenting with different placements.
