The District's
exodusstudio | Tue, 06/17/2014 - 17:26
Brief from client
A new design for a street concept cafe in Kuantan, Pahang Malaysia
Now, as it is now, I find it a bit hard to read, mainly because of the dark character surrounded by a super bright stroke on a darker background. can you try to maje the workd mark white? It'll be easier to read.
Another minor detail: I'm not really feeling the connection between "The" and the hand drawn word mark. But may be just me.
I think you can also clean up the area where the "r" meets the curved tail at the bottom. I think the pop of purple works great here too. Overall, I'm also on board. Nice work!
Pretty cool design, although to me it seems a better fit for a tattoo studio than a restaurant. The "The" doesn't fit with the rest of it, the font is too different and stands out. Also, there should be no apostrophe before the "s", unless your speaking of something that belongs to and is possessed by "The District". And speaking of which, if you're in any position to name this business, drop the "s" altogether and just call it "The District".
