Tile Guy

Brief from client
Brief was to design a logo for a tile company called Tile Guy. Had to incorporate colors blue, gray, and white. The client suggested using a tie.
Why a tie leaning to a left, as Pisa Tower? Sorry, symbol doesn't work for me. Perhaps, a totally fresh idea would be a consideration, as I see this one is only suitable for a Father's Day that we celebrate in U.S.A.
i understand sometimes you're forced to design with rules the customer gives ya...anyways not a fan of the colors, i would rework the top of the tie because it looks top big and doesn't fit with the rest of the design, and also the tie is not centered with your text.

white + blue on gray version
It takes a concentrated effort to not read 'Tie Guy', and even then I am still seeing Tie Guy, not tile guy.
Tile Tie Guy would probably work better according to Waffles =).
I like Tile Tie Guy. Can we get a name change here? The guy always comes to install your tile in a tie!

Idea of using Tiles design on Tie is good, but I don't like the way it is executed. Needs to work on symbol little bit more.
I can't agree more on the idea thing... What he should've done is to make tiles around a tie leaving a thing free of tiles to bring a message across.

I feel more the tiles like this . . .
Why does it have to be a neck tie?
