well it may sell it may not, it isn't really specific and quite vague. You could possibly tidy it up a bit so that it looks like an actual doughnut shape a bit more. does'nt really seem to be working with the font but that may just be me. Try a cleaner version without the gradients.

I love the symbolism. Not everyone can understand what it means. But you've done it just about right. Except maybe for the colors; or you may have a reason for the choice of that, but I'm not here to judge! Kudos!
