Brief from client
Logo for an software application that monitors the online newspapers. The function of this application is:
(from brief) "Tracking online newspapers in real-time to keep them from making changes in secret. We share this data with the world exactly as it happens!
The two main target audiences are:
1. Those who read mainstream media online (who we provide the data free to)
2. Media companies themselves to know about their competitors (who pay for a premium product)"
My idea is the letters T and M included in the logo (Transparent Metric initials). Also a grid of measurement. As a result, to me came the idea of shooting gun sight (optical sight). It gave a feeling of measurement and hunting.
Please your opinion!

What exactly would you simplify?
I thought this had something to do with aviation. I would like to see some of the other ideas you had.
Here: T for "transparent" and grids for "metric"
I am just not getting "newspaper" out of these ideas.
I saw a «spider crawling», did understand the «T» up to the moment I read the description and I as stupid, what is metric ? (I do know cm dm ...)
