I don't think he intentionally plaigerized, in case that's what you were implying. I think it could definitely go back to the drawing board. This isn't very memorable or developed.
I think the symbol is an okay first draft of the final concept (to be seen). The font choices are not good, in my opinion. Not only do I not like the way the 2 lines play off each other currently, I just don't think this font is the right choice for a finalized "Creative Group" logo.
I don't see the similarity of the 2 logos mentioned above - except the fact they're both pyramids viewed from above... but then the Egyptians would have something to say about the 'original' post above, too.
Keep refining this - or using it as a springboard for something new. You'll get there.
Naah, it's not an accusation. As I created the logo version from the first post, ofcourse I thought about it when I saw this. Although I think this one is better.
It's easy to see why you'd go for the traingles. It's not a bad symbol, but there are probably better concepts around to work with. Play around some more with the triangular shapes. Colour and font will need work also.
