Turn

Brief from client

No brief, just something i was doodling about with the other day and thought it would make quite a cool logo for some made up design/music company that i could stick in my portfolio.

Like i said this all started from me doodling and I like the idea behind it. I just want to know if a) people like it and b) if its readable as TURN?

thanks

Matt, sorry, I cannot read that as " TURN ". Also, the last letter looks as lower case m with a separation in a center. Perhaps, if you could use letters as they normally appear ( talking about U ) and then turn them into a direction, either left or right - that might be a solution for your idea.

I did read this as turn. Interesting start.

I like the idea but at first glance I read it as "Torn".

I actually read this as Turn as well. One thing though, I think the sharp ends of T and R are a bit too sharp. Cool idea!

Exactly what I was going to say.

Oddly enough I also read turn, and on second glance noticed the upside down u. Now that i see that, I don't really read turn. So not sure how to feel!
I agree tho that the curve on the t and r is a bit harsh.
Maybe it works just because it tricks your eyes!!!!

thanks guys! well I'm glad that most of you read it as turn first and yes the arrow on the "U" is to suggest that the "u" needs to "turn" in order for it to be a proper "u"

Yes the ends on the T and r are indeed sharp! i will take a look at those and i think i might make a new arrow head by using those sharp bits that i put on the T and r so that it all ties in.
