Brief from client
no brief I was just given a name and no more information :(
I'm really not sure what this is supposed to represent. It sounds like you weren't given anything, either. I hate to say this, but this is a dead end project. The client is shooting themselves in the foot by not conveying their vision and company identity to the person responsible for bringing it to life. Unless, of course this was one of those "contests," in which case you're shooting yourself in the foot.
I see a building in the "UK" part, but not only does it seem forced, the rest of the logo seems inconsistent and bland. Why the line under part of the text? Why the default Myriad Pro typeface? I have more questions than you probably do.
Sorry, I don't know what else I can offer here, other than this doesn't work.
Ya so I had no brief I was just given this name and no background whatsoever .. I've set up some time with the client to try to get more info/background maybe. Thanks for the points on font I'll definitely change that too. Thanks for taking the time to give feedback

Good idea, but the end result fails to deliver.
Try to make the symbol pop up more. It's kinda lost in the middle of these big characters.
Also, simplify the symbol.
thanks guys!

When you meet your client, ask him a few questions. http://www.designfollow.com/design/logo/16-questions-ask-designing-logo/
You need a solid brief to create a great logo.
