Brief from client
Brand for parties events (childs)
I apologize for being a little bit lazy and used the already made balloons. thanks for your support always.
The way the platter sticks out of the U is a bit awkward as well. I share the sentiments of my colleagues on this one, it doesn't seem like a children's party catering service anymore.
Otherwise it's not a bad logo (I still prefer the original font however.) Just for consistency's sake, I would apply the same spacing between Ls as you have between letters. So where the two Ls line up, widen the space up just a bit.
This doesn't feel very kid-oriented anymore, the serving platter isn't terrible but now it feels more formal and adult. The balloons were fine if you drew them yourself, and they connected well to the children's party theme.
This font works but I still prefer the font you used in earlier versions, with the two-tone rounded font. It was much more fun and dynamic.
This isn't bad work though, I just want to say. It's good but needs more work.

Is this a catering service of some sort? Sorry, but I don't get a hand part.
The balloons are gone, good. But why this symbol? Now it looks just like a generic catering thing like Pedro says.
You know what? Screw the symbol, any symbols. This logo can work without any.
Besides Richie Rich, no children want something served on a serving platter with a lid. It doesn't fit with children at all.
If you want a symbol, your symbol can be those two 'p's. They are amazing!
Now if I can read Umpa Lumpa, but I do not like this combination of text and symbol, I think is unnecessary.

One other quick thing I noticed...
The color choice may need to be reconsidered. It looks very "Dunkin Donuts" right now.
Certainly you're right.
Nope, this one does not reflect children events and parties.
The symbol reflects 'restaurant'. The typography, yes, it works. Colors, no way they reflect kids.
The earlier revisions are more on point, nonetheless, this revision is good because you now know what doesn't work, which is valuable in itself.
