I like this one better. It shows some visual and composition skills.
Now, it also looks like any generic Italian restaurant out there. The chef hat, the moustache, the green and red... There's no real originality in this logo.
The curves of the red and green ribbons don't match each other. Same goes with the text.
The font choice isn't great. It doesn't really fit the hospitality business. And if you're gonna have a subtext, try finding a different font that sits nicely with the main one. Learn more about complimenting fonts here: www.fontsinuse.com
