Brief from client
The client was looking for a logo that defined the birth of a bedroom company to a company that in future be at the top of the food chain.
Visual Stimulus™ is a registered trademark for a local graphics design & film production company

I'd say everything is just too thin- the symbol itself is really thin, the text is really thin- it all disappears when reduced. And if you decide to stay with this shape but thicken everything or make it more bold somehow- I'd get rid of the horizontal line things that are happening below the text- they don't add anything.
Overall, I'm not sure about the symbol. It kind of looks like a dragonfly- but it's just SO thin.
Where is this: "Visual Stimulus™?" The text is in too long of a line. The line descending goes a long way from the concentration center. This thing takes up a lot of real estate and most of it is left to negative space. I'm not getting the idea you say you're seeking.
