Brief from client 

This is a logo for a manufacturing company that imports components from China for fabrication in the US.

I think the idea is good, however the globe is way to 3D and it splits of the text in a very brutal way.

This is pretty generic and plain.

The globe looks like a clip art.

I'd remove the terrible background and drop shadow.

The font choice is ok. The rest isn't.
