The logo is very fine, I would cnahge the font or the a, it gets all out of the scheme.
Thanks for the feedback @hueroth. I know the a is kinda out of it, but we wanted to put a triangle somewhere there, as it represents the fact that we are 3 founders of the company. I understand your point tho. Gonna test something else, where the triangle fits better. would you have any specific suggestions for typography?
I love the symbol! Very nicely done!
I actually love your typography, but your placement of your symbol looks a little weighted to the left, and I think its because your whale draws more attention than your font. In a sense my mind reads "whale picture" "whale word" if that makes sense. And they shouldn't be seen as two separate things.
Simply put, you can place the symbol OVER the text so it sits in its own space. That way you have a balanced design layout. On that note take out the little dot on the "e" since it also doesn't really do much for such a clean design :)

Hey Gigafrost, first of all, huge ammounts of respect for taking the time to write such detailed feedback.
I completely agree with the lack of balance between both sides, this is something that we were looking to tackle, and your opinion has helped us greatly on this. I will be uploading a revised form for the logo, if you could take a second look at it, we wouldn't know how to thank you enough!

The whale icon is great, but the type leaves much to be desired. The font's baseline seems to float awkwardly in relation to the whale graphic, I would suggest trying it either aligned bottom or adjust the type size so it doesn't seem so random - not quite the same size, not really bigger or smaller, just random.
Get rid of the dot in the E.
Also, the triangle is unnecessary, it actually makes it look to, maybe, say "WHOLE". To symbolize the three founders, use the three drops of water coming out of the whale - the creative juices flowing from the company, or whatever you want to say about it, but you don't need a Delta symbol/triangle/pyramid to confuse people about "what does THAT mean?"
If you really need to emphasize the three founders more, make more instances of three - three teeth instead of six (the voices of the company), three waves near the base of the whale (the flow, the foundation), three eyelashes (company vision), three reflective dots in the eye instead of one (company vision).... SO many ways to use a symbolic three without muddying the clean logo with a Delta symbol.
Ckoens - the approach and scope you have given us to work on our concept is far greater than any we have gotten so far. You, my friend, have an amazing eye for detail and really convey experience and knowledge.
We would be super uber mega honored if you could give us a review on our upcoming design, im sure you will be flattered by seeing your feedback incorporated in the new concept!
