This looks really good. I wouldn't try and add drop shadows when you use this logo for branding, they don't really add anything. In the age of superflat design, shadows and gradients detract from the simplicity for logos such as these.

I began to wonder if the curved symbol is too different from the clean, sharp edges on your text. I don't think it's a bad thing, though. This logo looks great as is, and I fear changing it too much would ruin it. So I wouldn't touch this; it looks finished :) Great job.
