Working Women With Disabilities

Brief from client
Empowering women with disabilities in the workplace and the community at large.
Wanted the look and feel of the logo to be corporate and feminine. The client sends out sponsorship letters every year to major corporations (banks, hospitals, law firms, etc) to fundraise for its annual awards dinner. The colors aren't necessarily set in stone, but I do need advice about the logo and its orientation. Having a really hard time trying to design for an organization with such a long name. I thought a lettermark might be best.

I think you need to come up with a more original symbol or idea.
Yeah, I was afraid that was a copout. Thank you.
Not working, you need to re-think your approach and try to solve this differently.
First sign of progress: you know that the handicap sign is absolutely unnecessary in your logo.
Don't use the handicap sign. It's not a positive symbol. Colors are nice and your intention is good, so you're going in the right direction apart from that.
Here is a hint.
This is how Chermayeff & Geismar solved MOMA:
Well said Splashster.
Probably it is not necessary to use the invalid in an armchair. Beat this emblem typographics.
