Not a logo per-say but more like a title - any critique appreciated.
It's for a fantasy / comedy short story, along the lines of a "Conan the Barbarian" farce.
First attempt. Has the old-worldy style but perhaps not the epic, yet tongue in cheek, Conan feel…?

I like this, it is very nice.
For an inside title page, but as you have said, it isn't epic.
If you are making a Conan farce then perhaps you should look at the source?
Looks nice, but I wonder when this story is taking place. Conan, while a complete fantasy, takes place in the very distant past. But your font selection says 1700-1800's, much more recently. If that's an appropriate time frame, then I say good job, run with it.
