They symbol is much too large in my opinion. It's not clear whether or not it is supposed to read as "AFINITI" or "FINITI." The typography is okay however I think you could find something more exciting to do with the second line, maybe smaller with more tracking between the leaders or a serif typeface.

I agree with Jim. I read "finity" and that symbol is way too unpractical.

Hi guys, thanks for your comments. I always thought the symbol represent exactly of the tittle <x-finiti>

I was reading "Afinity" thinking it was a play on the name sounding like infinity and looking like an infinity symbol. I think that right there creates enough confusion to warrant further exploration.

The idea is good, just the execution is off. You have to make sure that the symbol works as an X and an infinity symbol, AND you can still read "XFinity."

I'm a helvetica fan, but you have to do something more interesting with it. The tangled X isn't working, there's too much disconnect between it and the type to tie them together as a single word.

Also, I'd steer very clear of the word XFinity, in any spelling variation. Not sure where you live, but XFinity / Comcast is the largest cable and internet provider in the United States. You're even using their color scheme (red and black).

Good point as well.

This for your comment, really helps a lot. I'm from other countries out of the state.
Not that i didn't know comcast is using that, but with the logo different and spelling spelled differently would that be consider a copyright infringement?

I don't think you would be sued, since your company is so small it's likely to go unnoticed, and you're in an unrelated industry. But if you were sued, a judge *might* side with Comcast and say you've infringed on their copyright, there is enough similarity to successfully make that case. But they'd likely pressure you to settle out of court, costing you time and money, but still less time and money than it would take to fight back.

The bigger problem, and the likely one, is how your logo will be perceived by your potential audience. Someone might look at it and think you were somehow associated with Comcast, or that you're ripping Comcast off with your logo, or that you lack the creativity to come up with your own ideas. In any case, these are not good impressions. Is that the message you want to send your clients? Is that how you want your company to be seen?

Also, I first read your logo as "Afiniti", which sounds like a good name. But before you do, consider that there is another interior design company called Affinity here in the U.S.

So if I were you, I'd rethink this and start again, being more careful this time when selecting a name.

I totally didn't see an X there. Which only confirms my first impression.
