Brief from client
• Napa Brewing Company is a craft brewery. We make very high quality beers.
• The beer industry is fun so we don’t want to be too serious. However, we want to portray the image of high quality.
• Napa Brewing Company is a reliable product and has a real sense of place.
Dropped the stars and the sock.
They are all hopped up on their hopps, so I incorporated that. Font and color scheme seemed to be working so I kept those.

The one you mention is the Fibonacci veggie. The one in G's logo logo is a hop.
The hop wouldn't be as clear to everyone else as to what the company actually does to a certain degree unless you change the whole design of the hop. I preferred where you were heading with the previous design.
HA HA- Out of context it is really weird looking. I spent so much time looking at hops and making this that I couldn't see it that way. hmmm...
