My company's logo
This is version 2 of my logo. As I told you Midnimo means Unity in Somali language. I have chosen four colors (Dark Blue, light blue, white and black). I'm curious about your comment.

i was told by some designers if possible "do not use gradient when doing a logo" :/
Ok this is nice but there's room for improvement, particularly with the symbol. It looks way too quickly done and needs a lot of fine tuning.
The other problem is the composition. The fact that the elements aren't centered makes the whole thing unbalanced.
Other than that I like the choice of color. About the gradient thing, here's what's what: it's not that you absolutely can't have gradient in a logo. You can, but you're better having a gradient free version of this logo for certain applications and print set ups. You should always have several versions of the same logo, just for flexibility's sake.

Hands in the form of a star - trivial and clumsily drawn. The font is nice, but why the letters in the words in different sizes? The colors are nice!
