Brief from client
Hello good people.
Here's another proposal for my cousin's salad bar.
I totally dig this style, but my only reservation is that it might more suitable for a bar rather than a salad bar only opened for lunch.
That being said, I think it goes pretty well with the direction I want to take: American/French neo vintage fusion =)
Tell me what you guys think.

And here's a collection of the different proposal I made this far.
I like the bottom one.
I think removing the extra points and curls and bringing the "L" back in does help tone down the bar aspect. I also really like the versions with the subtext. My only critique would be that the lower leg of the "L" could use a touch more weight, especially in the center of the curve.
That said, there is also something about the version 3 down on the left that I really dig.
I agree with Jon. Also, the only other thing I would consider would be to lower the end of the curve of the S, since it starts to create a tangent with the lowercase i. Awesome stuff btw, love your other mock ups. Always been a fan of your work.
Looks awesome as a logo, but as you mentioned it does not really say salad (fresh) it is vintage style.
I agree with Jon about the L, and the curve of the S looks to me as if it can be little bit sleeker. I like the bottom option from your collection :)
For my taste, the S is much to big and does not suit to rest of the logo. And the apostrophe is upside down.
i have no words. thanks for inviting me to put my opinion here but i am under the level to critique your work. very nicely done sir.
and you just marked it as helpful, thanks again!
I would say just some minor tweaks...
The serif on the upper part of your large S doesn't match the serifs on the rest of your characters. It looks like you're combining standard and slab serifs...
Also, maybe it's just me, there is something about the connection of the inner point of the capital L that looks a little off. And it could be just how the bottom of the L looks like it doesn't necessarily line up with the left portion (if that makes any sense at all). You have a slight curve on the lower portion of the L that doesn't really exist in any other character where a strait like could be substituted.
I added a visual for what I mentioned, just in case I'm not making any sense...
Keep hammering away! It's getting there.
Ya besides the corrections you have to make is it good. But i personal like this one so much. It got so much more potential for the further rebranding.
