Brief from client
We had to design a modern, simplistic yet stylish logo for a netherlands based IT startup by some students from Saxion university of applied sciences.
as charlie suggested, a version with a hand lettered font. I'd gotten into it with a hard head, but it actually turned out nice

No the handwritten is not working at all. I'd go back and look at some of the examples on your post previous to this one. Thinner fonts will be less "in your face" as Shawali said. This idea you have is simple and clean and the font should reflect that. Also handwritten does not work at all for technology companies unless you are REALLY really good at it. Just look for thinner fonts (not TOO thin to where the blue slash is overpowering it) that let the wordmark feel like there is more breathing room than just the big block letters you originally had. I'll attach a logo where thin font was used cleanly.
