Brief from client
We had to design a modern, simplistic yet stylish logo for a netherlands based IT startup by some students from Saxion university of applied sciences.
made a thin one, just to be a little bit less "in your face". I think this one hit the nail on the head, fresh and modern while still simplistic.

simplistic doesnt have to be sterile as it is here. Improve by adding stile and message. sketch a lot first, dont jump in illustrator or whatever you use. think about what slash means, be subbersive, indecent ,bold, anything but not this.
About font, i sense a little kerning problems between A and S, is too skinny and not strong, now go get some power and kick some asses.
I can tell you're really struggling with this one. As the previous poster said, you would have a better time by sketching like hell, and then going digital. Open your mind to other possibilities, play around with other methods to include the slash, and think outside the box, as well as your own comfort zone. You'll be amazed how much this helps.
