Brief from client
The company will work with new companies or companies that are just now getting to the web. The idea is to "shyft" to the cyber world.
I'm trying to create a graphic that describes cybershyft, as well as being relatively simple and easy to remember. It's been a long time since I've done any logo design, so I know I need some feedback.

This is not working.
The slanted thing is really distracting, the symbol is way too small and needs more room to breath. It also has to many small details for its size.
Globally, it very dated like a 90's futuristic feel.
It feels like you didn't really sketch anything before hand and when straight to the computer. That maybe your biggest problem.
Get inspiration from logos for similar business (Pinterest is your friend =) and sketch like your life depends on it. That how good ideas pop in.

I definitely see your point. I am a little stuck in the 90's at heart. I need to shyft my paradigm a bit. The sad thing is this is the best of 4 pages of sketches. Back to the sketch pad. Thanks for your input.
