Brief from client
Simple, smart, interesting logo. The one that you can cut in steel or stamp burn on wood.
Can you see what's is this about? At first look?

The idea is really cool and clever. Now, the end result is a bit too flimsy for my taste. Try different compositions, revise the font work (especially the kerning and the tracking)

I agree with above. I am not a fan of the typography ("firma" portion especially). I get what the "FF" is making, but does it still work if they are closer together? To me everything feels stretched out and a bit forced.
Also, I think the top corner angle of your left F is a bit off.

Yeah, I'm in agreement here. The idea is there, it's just conveyed a bit weak since the implied shape isn't filled in enough.
Thank you very much, for your comments! I really appreciate it. I was also thinking about empty spacing and typography, something was wrong for me. Thanks for pointing this out. I will try to fix it.

Yes...definitely share. This could become really good. It looks like the FIRMA type is actually a little smaller than the FURNITURE type? In reality, It could be much bigger, since this is the unique word in the name. That would eliminate a lot of the excess letter spacing. Keep at it...you are close to something really good!
