The text layout is really distracting. The name doesn't make a lot of sense, but I suppose that's irrelevant. What is relevant, however is how the logo makes up for it, and conveys the right message. I get more of a sports vibe than a hiphop vibe from this.

My eyes settle on OLD!! Hip hop doesn't vibe with Old to me?!? I think the text is confusing.

The "OLD" thing is not a problem, it's supposed to be underground and old school but I agree with you about the confusion of the text.
