AMCA

Brief from client

I have to make a redesign of this brand, and i have to respect the original colors. Also they don't want a very radical/violent redesign but im totally open to any suggestions.

- First Version is the ORIGINAL logo.

- The others are some of the redesigns im working on.

Some cautious changes.

I respect that you're having to stay within some boundaries per the client's request but my suggestion would absolutely be a radical redesign. It's just a blob of yellow and cyan with no real unity or composition. While trying to make your client happy I would also come up with some fresh ideas to show them. Seeing it might help them come around. Guide them. Good luck.

I totally agree with my buddy Jon here.

It's ok to respect the client wish but don't hesitate to go beyond the call and come up with something totally different and way more potent that this mess of a logo.

Good luck!

Thanks Jon and Shawali for the feedback, i agree with both of you in presenting something new and fresh.

I did it but it wasn't taken. The client stills totally attached to the old brand... :(

It's kinda frustrating, (i dont't want to generalize) but i think that maybe in way it's a generational issue that old familiy companies are not so friendly to changes.

Either way thanks a lot for your opinions!!

looking at the thumbnail, it looks like a sad cat face.
I agree with what said above, you cannot always agree with the client, it is always healthy to propose your point of view and try to educate your client. Good luck.
