Brief from client
Because i'm done this for myself there is no brief.
I wanted a simple yet recognizable face for this logo. An old "sport" but i wanted to add some modern look to it. Nothing concrete, it's an universal logo. Would you be so kind to tell your opinion about it or give me some tips?

Symbol is going in the right direction. It almost looks like something from Assassin's Creed. I can't honestly say that it looks like an Archer's bow, but it has this Medieval look about it.
The font is horrible with it. Is that Helvetica? I don't know. But the kerning is super off, it doesn't look like it goes with the symbol, the black against the grey is super weird and harsh, and the font just doesn't connect well.
It read "rchery".
The symbol looks great thought, but it's working well with the less than stellar font you picked. You're better off not substituting a character with the symbol. Most of the time, it'll just screw with the legibility of the whole thing.
As Erins said, you also need to fix that kerning.
