Because i'm done this for myself there is no brief.

I fixed the kerning, and choose another font, altough i'm not sure about this font.

This is an improvement over the original! This font works for me, I like that you are not forming a "A" with the symbol. I like how the "y" aligns nicely along the arrowhead. And I like that its "sharp" which works for this.
Definitely a move in the right direction.

This is indeed an improvement over the original. The font is getting much closer, but I'm getting a bit of a Harry Potter vibe.

However, I still feel like it is very static. Archery involves a lot of precision, strength, and a level of badassery. I'd like to see your logo have some movement, some angles, instead of it just being a left to right read.

Too much space between A and r.
Create outlines, play with the sherifs.
