Now we're talking! Definitely a step in the right direction. Now, this is far from being finished.

Keep digging with that suggestion of star idea. A few tweaks here and there should get you there.

Now the font is still a problem. First off, you need to combine two complimenting font rather then using the same one for the wordmark and the subtext. Check out www.fontsinuse.com to see exemples of cool type combinations.
