I would go with a softer color than bright red, try a gold color or a deep maroon. This is a huge improvement from what you have been posting. This symbol looks much cleaner than the first one you posted.
The name of the bank says "UNION" the symbol says "shield". Two different messages executed in two different ways. There's no consistency in the message this logo tries to communicate.
Equal proportion between the shield and the other thingies gives monotony to the logo and reduces hierarchy to the "main" symbol.
Having looked at the other comments in context of my own opinion, I think replacing the gray border of the shield with gold, when you shift the red to a nice rich burgundy would give it a classy look. I love the graphic. Personally, I feel like it is relevant to our times, but conservative and balanced enough to say "bank". My only point of discomfort now is the two colors for the bank's name. If the gold border works, maybe reverse the color scheme of the logo, using gold letters for the text and a little bit of a burgundy rule. And I like the font. It's straightforward. Simple. This is a bold logo. And the font again says to me solid and reliable....good message for a bank in my opinioin.
this is good great job,i agree with the above comment, for me i think too much thick and also the font change to other rather diffrent typefaces, choose a simple but unique style.well the color?it depends what your client motif you almost there.
At first I thought turning the trademark upside down would suggest a "u" more, but then it would look like a Toyota rip-off. Here's an idea. Simple, stark, suggestions of togetherness, yet contrasting:
MAL UN LOGO BANCARIO DEBE TRANSMITIR SEGURIDAD Y DEBE SER LIVIANO TANTO EN CROMATISMO COMO EN FORMA......................... DEL 1 AL 10 = 0,00000000001

Big improvements. Much better
Still need to work on the execution.
The font is too generic.

Lose that gray outline. It has no business here.
I like this version so much, just change the background for more contrast! :D

I have to agree with Luenib about the symbol and the font. Arial is very generic.
I don't think the colors work. I would go with green or blue.
I still think there are symbol options out there that say UNION that you haven't explored.
Looks a bit to ugh like the trey arch logo. Much better than previous submissions though by far.
wow nice logo....have you done this or its an existent logo?
Your idea is closer to good, but, the your execution is poor, and the typo and colors still bad.
Eh, that gray outline is totally redundant, it just makes a mess. Rest is ok and it will work
