Well...
1st - Its a lot better in many ways.
2nd - The Blurb is tremendo compared to Bookstore. When I said a different weight I meant the line weight not the font size.
3rd - You added a gradient. Not a step in a better direction.
Like I said before, the icon looks very cliparty and the fonts can be better. It still looks very cheap and non professional.
How about something like these?...
