Brief from client
I'm rebranding and I needed an easy to remember company name, one that needed little explanation. I work in rural surroundings and the fantail birds visit me often so I wanted to make this bird my symbol - where I could use it with or without text and be interchangeable to brightly coloured backgrounds.
I have a habit of 'going forth' with a logo before I absorb it. I like this one but am looking for feedback before updating website and stationery. I already see a couple of tweeks needed but I'm wanting comments on the overall design.

Cute logo. I think the symbol is good, personally I think the wing and the eye are a little off (the eye is too low and the wing goes too far) or it might be the white colour. Also I'm not in love with the green. The type is unique, it might be hard to read small but its different. Just ideas!
Thanks for the comments Claire. I've turned the eye around and made the curve less severe. Also thinned the white lines and reduced the size of the wing. I think this is more subtle. I hope you like the changes. The colour will be interchangeable and I may even go with pastel theme.
They were just suggestions but I do like the bird a lot more now, also a pastel theme might be nice! It's looking good!
also ignore the little red hands I don't know how to change them :)
I really like the revised bird logo, I'm not too sure about the type, but I wouldn't know what direction to go with it really. It's overall a very charming logo I especially like the blue background.
My green marks are for the new revised bird that you put up, I really like the new eye and the new wing- and I agree with thecuraga about the blue background- I like that much better than the darker green. I guess I actually prefer any of the other colors over the original slightly darker green. The way you have it now looks happy and springy.
I'm not a huge fan of the font you've chosen, I'd be tempted to try something a little more controlled looking- but something that still looks handwritten.
