The client wanted a shrimp in the logo.

This one probably works the best, I think.
Do you really need to keep the antennae on the shrimp, though? I realize they actually do have long antannae, but it's probably a detail that could be omitted when simplified a step further.
I'm not sure it might look like a worm maybe without the antenna

Hmm I see what you mean about the worm. Maybe it could just be shorter.
I think any of these solutions would work in the long run.

Much better! This one's a winner. The shorter antennae gives it variation.
I haven't noticed it before, but does anyone think the Q is kind of weird looking? I would have preferred the tail at least connect. But if it's not unusual, I wouldn't worry about it.
I didn't comment on the previous version, but frankly I think you're done with this iteration. It works on all account.

Yes this is exactly what i was trying to get at in my previous comments. I think this is a winner! good job!
Super. Leave it as is. If the client doesn't like, then think of something else. HI in DHIR and QUA in AQUACULTURE need minor revision in kerning I think. If you look long to logo, it feels like HI needs to go more to the left and QUA more integrated into the context of AQUACULTURE.

The client liked the shrimp but wanted it more like a spiral that became thinner at the end and fat at the head
