Early Coffee

There's a really cool idea behind this logo but it the end result is far from being great.

First off, the font is terrible. I don't know if you modify it or it came like that, but find something better (check out this site: www.fontsinuse.com)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the symbol was obviously made straight on the computer with a mouse. It clearly lacks any before hand sketching. You really need to spend a few hours sketching hundreds of this little guy to achieve the perfect symbol. It needs to feel very organic. This one right does not. You need to take into consideration every little details such as the exact placement of the wings, how they should look like, how does the beak should look like, etc...

You are onto something good here, just give it a few more hours or days.
