Brief from client 

Tried to make a logo that would work for basically any Environmental Company if I change the text to their company name.

Tried to make the roots less lizard like.
change the brown color I think I like the old one better but curious what you guys think.
made the stem thicker

It's brown.. But the whole idea still isn't working for me.

I think your effort would be better spent coming up with a different graphic mark :.
