When I look at this, I see "Five X Studios", not Five studios. Which, it very well may supposed to be Five X, I don't know(you didn't give much of a brief).
If you are trying to use the "V" to represent a five, why not something more along the lines of this? I feel like it clears up the X confusion.
Plus, when you use white in your logo, it absolutely has to be on a colored background when printed, or the colors have to be changed. This idea would alleviate that as well. It needs to be a bit more polished, but I just threw it together as a concept.

I still think the lines could be a BIT thinner, but I'd say this is simple and to the point.
Is this a personal graphic designer logo?
yeep, it`s personal studio logo
I get the 'V' representing 5 but not much else. What's the rest of the symbol about? Have i completely missed something?
this is the idea, 5 -> V, rest is the "continuity" of the lines from V
I get the V, but there's also an X. What does it represent?
The colors are super dull and unappealing.

There's already a V in five. Have you tried anything about that? It seems like a pretty obvious move to me =)
