Brief from client
This is for me... And, it has been said on here before, creating a personal logo is difficult. This started as just a stamp design. To watermark, etc. I have difficulty critiquing myself-- so here it is. Be gentle.
I'm a graffiti writer. So I am drawn to arrows, stars, stencils..etc. Like I said, this started as a stamp.. sort of my version of the copyright symbol.

Graffiti artists do like to spice their work with detail so I presume this was a really tough job to go against your nature and try to create a different kind of graphic.
It's a good idea and a good start but it needs some work before it can become a good logo.
You need to explore your options how to turn this into a winner.
Since you asked us to be polite and you seem like a nice guy I am posting this quick mock up to show more options. It's nothing special, as I said it's just 3 minutes work but it's the idea that counts.
Thanks for the 3 mins. Actually, that will push my brain in a different direction and that is what I was looking for.
So, what do you think I should do to yours? Maybe add a gloss and a drop shadow... maybe some 3-D? Maybe mix up the fonts a bit? Throw some comic sans in there? I'm sure I could push that red into a nice glowing pink.

Riiight....it will definitely add much needed simplicity and clarity.
If you add all those nice effect you will create something so shiny and beautiful that people will need to put sunglasses on just to be able to look at it.
This is actually very good, you could make a big buck selling this to sunglasses vendors to put on big posters outside their shops :P
Sorry, needs to be much simpler. I don't like it so far.
