Simple logo used for my own cell phone retail store
Simple logo used for my own cell phone retail store
Overall the logo is too skinny and undefined, it goes apart , has no shape. Using two symbols moved the gravitation point from one to the other, remove the antena waves from the type. G could be better designed, maybe an ear to be more rounded or something more "geom" like shape. The font should be stronger than this, more solid. Also have in mind the fact that you should be able to align the symbol and the font to be easy to read as a whole.
In essence, I agree with the above comments. All elements look to be different and cut and pasted. Either the G needs to be re-drawn to compliment the typeface, or cellular needs to be bolder. The waves are far too chunky for the text and the angle of the phone looks a bit odd. In my opinion, there are a few too many ideas going on in one logo. You only need one clever element otherwise it gets confusing. Why not move the waves from above the text over to the phone aerial? I would also remove the perspective. Overall, the idea is pretty good, it just needs refining so that everything looks as if it belongs in the same logo.
No no no, no no! I'm sorry but I don't think any of this works. The font is far too thin, all of the symbols and everything are just pure clip-art (or at least they look that way... or like clip art that was modified with a heavy hand), I don't understand why the cell phone (I'm assuming that's supposed to be a cell phone up front) looks like a capital 'G', and the 'signal' symbol over the two l's just doesn't need to be there.
The colors are fine. The logo does not look finished enough. It needs more refinement. Plus it looks too common and outdated (phone-like-G, icon and tech-yish font).

I like the colors - but there it ends... The phone inside the G is not a bad idea, but do the rest in much, much thicker typeface.

I'd start over with a fresh idea!
Its suppose to be for a Cellphone store so i though having some kind of symbols in the logo related to cellphones would fit
I like your overall idea but this does not work!
