Brief from client
This is the logo we are creating for our agency, we are a small team of 2 graphic designers and a programmer, we are located in zumpango, a small city in México. Glifo Media (“Glifo” is the Spanish word for “Glyph”) is a digital agency with focus on web design, systems creation and multimedia development (video, 3d animation, interactive games and apps) we believe in creating simple solutions for medium and small business that are new to the digital world. We want to be seen as a modern digital agency but maintaining a prehispanic look, the idea behind this is mixing the new digital world with the old roots from the prehispanic world .

I'd avoid having a drop shadow effect within the symbol. It's cheap. The fact that you have a G in the symbol and the same one in the text is kinda redundant, but that's just me. Anyway, the G in Glifo isn't consistent with other characters.
Also, you want to tweak that pesky kerning.
That being said, I think you are on the right track with that symbol and the overall simplification since the first versions.
Keep it up!
This is your best version by far.
I'm not a fan of the super wide G though, it throws the whole thing off balance.
Thank you all for your comments and help, the process has been long and new for us, even more difficult because we are "our own clients" , but we really appreciate all the help from this community, we will try to continue perfecting this logo, we want to create the best possible version of this concept we love. thank you for the feedback.
