Way better.

Separate the "Y" from the "W" and the "E" from the "Y" just a bit and lose that ring for good.

Other than that, in my opinion you are finished.

Well, tell you client that with the ring it looks "chafa"

If you take this design and make a real life keychain the thing is gonna bend/break between the "E" and the "Y".

I would tell him once, but if it doesn't work I deliver the project and ask him for my check.

At first glance I thought this logo was for a lock and key company. I think that's because you lowered the heirachy of the word chain. Try making them equal in size. I'd also like to see you lose the stroke on all text.
