The badge version. Can be used for promotional items as they can contain lots of text in and around the badge.

Ho, you did it again. This is great, this is awesome. It's like you know exactly what gives me a visual boner.

There's not much to say, this logo is pretty much perfect, although I sometimes feel that you tend to use the same recipe, this over abundance of lines and ornaments, but hey, it still looks great, so who cares?

As I already said, you are a natural. You should really make a video explaining your process or whatever wizardry at work behind these eye candies. That would be very beneficial for a lot of people, even seasoned designers who don't have your natural instinct.

ROAR!!

I know what you mean about using the same recipe, but I partly am trying to do this. Which is why I've named these as a badge and a banner variation. I plan to have a nice collection of badges for all my logo's as well as the logo's on there own. The badges are great for giving the client a head start on how the branding will be aswell as being a good chance to practice typography variations.

I will also work on some videos showing what it is that I do, as it can be quite unusual at times. I know its not the normal process for producing these styles of work, so it will be really interesting to see what people think. Its just never easy knowing if I'm in the right mood or not. I've tried before and I've been too aware that I was recording myself.

This is actually from the first round of revisions on this logo. I've been developing this on my own without the clients feedback up until this point. So now comes the second stage. Will take on board all the feedback from everyone as its exactly why I post up on here.

Wouldnt be working as hard without the people to appriciate the work, so I do appriciate the kind words sir. Say it every time, but you always make me laugh out loud. .. maybe cackle..

Beautiful!! i think your symbol could do with being a bit bigger though just because its really cool and needs to have a bit more attention brought to it i feel. Also with it being this small you may have trouble trying to print it for any stationery like business cards and letterheads.

I love how everytime a logo gets put on the critique i can tell which one are yours before clicking on them

Same techniques and idea as other logos you've made... I like it as work, but can't. Be a logo, a logo must have specific margins an be clean, thi other versions can be proudly called logo. I'm not a fan of this kind of style, too many details, lines, characters, points...etc. And I think the lavanna character is too much expanded.

A logo can really be what ever you want it to be. A logo has a core, and a shell, aswell as if it choses a flourishing mane.

The core of this logo being the Lion emblem.

The logo-type would be the word Lavanna, which in a lot of cases, it would be used on its own without any decoration at all. (The logo-type doesnt need to be very interesting if the logo has a strong Icon and strong branding - Its a common mistake to force the logo-type into doing something special)

The banner around the logo would add up to being part of the branding, where other signs, labels or anything else could also share elements of this logo. Wether its the banner on its own with the word "Store Room", or the way the outer circle is styled. This can all be used separately the help spread the branding in other areas.

Just wanted to bring this areas up as I will make sure to note this when posting my work, but I will also be posting much much more Banners and Badges, If you've seen my previous work, you'll know I like to do this alot. Its my passion after all.
