Brief from client
This will be use as my personal logo. I think it suits my personality so I really want to use a mug wearing glasses.
After some very well based critiques I have modified some aspects from my previous logo.

I see were you were going with this but if you take a step back and look at the logo for a second, the coffee mug is "artsy" no smooth lines the glasses although are a little "artsy" still look smooth to the eye, it looks as if you cut n pasted a new set of glasses on the mug. if that makes sense.
I would also adjust the fonts a bit, You have M capital and the rest lowercase as if its all one word same as the tag line below. again if you take a step back and look at the logo it takes the brain a few seconds to understand.
As a general rule when designing the logo think that your target audience is going to be (sorry for a lack of better word) Stupid. make sure when they look at it the can understand the type and logo within a second or two. You don't want your audience to have to work to read your logo. thats why some of the best logos are very plain simple yet they forever burn in the back of your mind. you want something clean simple to the point that still has your style to it... :)
PS keep it to 1 or 2 colors max :)
