Real classic touch with the est. 1954 beneath it.
The typography is better than first version, I like it. But please, when you upload a logo here, make sure the alignment is good.
Try other ideas, away from just typography. But keep this in mind, it could be the one if you work more on it.
It still looks super generic.
Try some different typefaces and maybe work a symbol into it somehow. All of your revisions look pretty much the same without much improvement. It's hard to critique basically the same thing. You have some pretty good posts from your other works. This one falls short in comparison.
Your disapproval is driving me to find a suitable metaphor for a mark. A (very) rough draft of one of my ideas:
