Brief from client 

Client wants an apple shaped logo to use as a small intro to his youtube videos. His nickname, Manzana (spanish for Apple) needs to be included.

New idea for logo.

It does not look like an apple, and the green piece on the top is not helping. I think you do not need the Origami effect as it does not help or represent anything. I think what you did on the first version was a better idea but only required a better execution.
