Logo for a weekly market in a tourist town known for its historic buildings / sites. Not much more of a brief than that.
Just starting to play around with some initial ideas. Feedback appreciated.

I'm particularly looking at the first R and the interaction between the ligature of the K and T with the O and the N just above.
I like it!!! but probably cause English isnt my native language but the first time I read it understood Markei instead of Market xD.

This lettering looks killer. I love the choice of texture as well. I'm curious to see what Shawali is getting at.
