Brief from client
To create a brand for Market Street..Located in St.Helier, Jersey.
Different font and full colour version. I think the red and gold work well together especially as they tie in with the colours of the market.. but am always open to opinions on this. The main thing is the new font.. does this work better than the other version?
Yes, much improved. Looks great. This is a way more appropriate font in my opinion. Classic feel with a contemporary edge. I prefer the solid coloured fleur than this outline one though.
thanks for your help Brian, i prefer this font to! i tried the solid fleur with this font but it looked to overpowering so chose to use this outline one instead to help keep the text prominent
Its nice to see the font on its own. (as opposed to showing all the workings, which I often do too) But, what I'm noticing is that by presenting a logo in one typeface, it gives off the impression that your confident with this design. (It might be like that, because the last version had lots of workings)
Basically, Its nice to show your workings in the first stage, Then in the second stage show a singular idea that you can be confident about.
I do prefer this design aswell, My first impressions where that its quite simple, but that's often an important aspect. This will make a good timeless design.

I like this.
Thank you, do you think the font is more suitable than the other versions?
Definitely. I wasn't a fan of the warp effect on the first version.

I like the straight text. The arch was cool but this looks a lot stronger.
