Brief from client
Aggressive logo for sportswear company (MMA,bodybuilding, street workout)
I do like it. I almost see a boxer with raised arms making the negative space in the "m" maybe play with that idea? I do like the type but I would keep playing with it, the spacing and all that. It doesnt look finished enough to be on sports equipment. I would also play with the tagline size and placement and all that. Besides those improvements its looking good, certainly on the right track! Keep it up!
I don't really know if the negative space integrated with the M is helping anything. I agree with Kayla, play with that idea, or use the negative space for a specific purpose. Maybe show weights, or a fighting cage, something like that. The tracking is a little too tight for me for the main type, and I would move the slogan up a little bit.
I'm ok with the logo itself, but tightening up the space to the ends of the M would be much better. I do NOT read the word MASSIVE, which is what I'm assuming it's supposed to say. I absolutely read MIASSIVE, so that may be a concern. Also, you have to clean up the kearning in the tag line and the word Massive. In some areas it's too tight and other areas in STOP, it's too loose. Try not to touch letters. Overall, it could work, but it needs fine tuning
I really like the snake eyes that you create with the cut of the M letter, I think you should give a little more detail and make people understand a little more, great job, the letters also can be a little bit lower because it conflicts with the general idea. Love it.
I like it. Play with kerning and it's going to be perfect. It look like the text both in the MASSIVE and the slogan was just typed, squeezzed and left. This is the game to master that thing http://type.method.ac/

generally like the idea but i think the cuts in the m shape are so wide that they take away from being able to read the mark as an "m".
