'MIS' SERVICES

Brief from client

'MIS' Services - Stands for Maintenance Installation Security. The Company name is 'MIS (backwards) Services'.I just didn't want this critique coming up on Google search results - hence the difference between the title of critique and the logo itself.

Changed font as some people had commented on their dislike of the original, which incidentally was 'Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed'.

I do like the new font, I think it's a bit more friendly.

Obviously changed the 3 symbols' position to above the text and centered them on the 'services' text as it was looking weird completely centered. Let me know and i'll post a version of the completely centered version.

The symbols are down to the guy. Shawali - I'd prefer a wrench for the universal symbol of maintenance, but the guy commented that he thought it alluded too much to mechanical maintenance, and I kinda agree, so offered the toolbox as an alternative. He commented that it looked like a suitcase, so I made it wider and told him to fuck off (in my head) ;).

I'm not happy with the symbol for installation really. I used cogs originally, although this says software installation really, and I also used a jigsaw piece, which I though was a nice touch, but you can imagine the response I got.

Your comments are much appreciated. Cheers!

Maybe increase the kerning on the tag line, it feels just a little tight.

Should the M have a period after it too?

I like the illustrations, cute and simple. The screws could use a little adjusting. I think each piece of the screw should be an equal distance apart from the other pieces (This is really hard for me to explain!) The problem areas are where the head of the screws meet the bodies, and where the tip meets the body of the one in front.

I like this layout better than your previous one.

In general I think it works though!
